Celebrity couple to be special guests of St Jude’s Ballynafeigh

Paul Jones, former lead singer with Manfred Mann and his actress/singer wife, Fiona Hendley–Jones, will share their stories and music as part of the ‘Time for You’ Outreach at St Jude’s Church, Ormeau Road.

Paul came to fame in the 60s singing on hits such as Doo Wah Diddy, Oh No Not My Baby and Pretty Flamingo before adding acting, TV and radio to his musical career. It was whilst playing at the National Theatre that he met his future wife Fiona.

Fiona, an accomplished actress and singer, has worked in all areas of show business from her acclaimed TV series “Widows” (for which she won Personality of the Year Award) to leading roles at the Royal National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and in many West End productions.

Both are committed Christians and at the events below they will share how they found true happiness and real faith.

  • Wednesday 14th October: ‘Belfast South meets the West–End’ at 8.00pm in the Church Hall, 243 Ravenhill Road

  • Thursday 15th October: ‘An Evening with Food & Fiona’, at 8.00pm in the Church Hall, 243 Ravenhill Road

  • Thursday 15th October: ‘An Audience with Paul Jones’ at 8.00 pm in the Errigle Inn, 320 Ormeau Road
