Moneyreagh Community Church is 2 years old!
Happy 2nd Birthday to Moneyreagh Community Church which has just celebrated with a weekend of events. The highlight was the baptism of 2 baby girls on Sunday morning with nearly 140 gathered in the Community Centre hall and balcony to welcome Eva–Rose and Connie into the church.
Other events were a successful Curry and Movie Night and a football game for Moneyreagh United. “Unfortunately the team came ‘second’ in their outing against Saintfield Road Presbyterian (4–1)” reports Revd Mervyn Jamison, “but it was a fun afternoon!”
About
Moneyreagh Community Church was the first church in Down and Dromore’s ‘plantforHim’ initiative. It meets each week at at 11.00 am in the village’s Community Centre and also has a midweek programme. It is led by Revd Mervyn Jamison.
