Kerygma Good News Choir in fine voice ahead of Saturday’s concert

The Kerygma Good News Choir is in excellent voice ahead of Saturday’s concert in St Anne’s Cathedral.

The choir, under Director, Lorna Palmer, has been rehearsing intensively as the ‘Night of Celebration Praise’ approaches with Lorna putting them through their paces in Magherally Church halls near Banbridge. Lorna is well known and respected as a music teacher, choir director and pianist and studied voice and piano at the Royal College of Music, London.

We are very grateful to her and the choir for all the time and effort they have put in over the Year of Mission and into this concert in particular. Here are a few photos of the choir’s most recent rehearsal.

Do support them on Saturday 7 November and enjoy a wonderful evening of celebration and praise. We will be hosted by senior BBC News journalist, Will Leitch and former Methodist President, Revd Dr Heather Morris. Heather will bring a couple of short reflections during the programme.

Proceeds will go to crisis funds working with refugees in the Middle East via Tearfund and Trocaire.

Tickets cost £10

Seating unreserved. Doors open at 6.30 pm and the concert begins at 7.00 pm. Refreshments will be available during the interval.

Tickets are available from choir members and online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/kerygmachoir *
