Tickets still available for our ‘Night of Celebration Praise’

There are still some tickets available for Saturday’s ‘Night of Celebration Praise’ with The Kerygma Good News Choir and BBC journalist Will Leitch.

The doors open to concert goers at St Anne’s Cathedral from 6.30 pm on 7 November. Seats are unreserved and the programme starts at 7.00 pm. Tickets cost £10 per person, payable at the door.

The choir, directed by Lorna Palmer, will be joined by musicians and soloists in a carefully chosen selection of pieces including classical composers, hymns, Afro–American spirituals and contemporary songs. The audience will also have opportunity to join in the singing of several favourite hymns and worship songs.

The word Kerygma (from the Greek κήρυγμα kérugma) means ‘preaching’ or ‘proclaiming’ and that will be reflected in the programme which will take us on a gospel journey from Christ’s advent to his return and heaven.

We’re also delighted that Revd Dr Heather Morris, who is the Secretary for Home Missions in the Methodist Church in Ireland, will share two short reflections on ‘Joining Jesus and ‘Astounding Grace’.

Do join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening of music and celebration!
