A message from Jane Corbett in South Sudan

Greetings from Juba!

Nina and I arrived yesterday afternoon (14 January) from Maridi.

We had a really wonderful visit. I think we were able to be a real encouragement and we were both very blessed and encouraged.

We were delighted to see that the Women’s project we started last year is really going well, despite the unrest.

They have made and distributed 277 packs and were hard at work on more! There were also a number of completed packs waiting to be distributed when the new term begins in February!

We also had time with the people who were involved in the terrible disaster of the Oil tanker. The burn victims are being counselled by ladies in the MU. The work was again very impressive.

Nina and I left money to buy Vaseline for the victims, who have nothing for their skin, now that the Red Cross has left.

Nina has flown home but please continue to pray for Jane as she visits the Munyangajus at Bird of Paradise Ministries, Rwanda.
