Faith, hope and Motor Neurone Disease

Liz McElhinney was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in May 2015, just as she turned 70.

She is a former social worker and an ordained minister in the Church of Ireland. She served her curacy in Down and Dromore and has retired into the diocese.

Here, 6 months later and already living with some of its effects, Liz shares her powerful experience of a God who draws near in the most challenging of situations.
