New film offers evangelism opportunities
New release, Risen (in cinemas 18 March) tells the story of a Roman soldier investigating the mysterious disappearance of the body of Jesus of Nazareth. Clavius (Joseph Fiennes), a powerful Roman military tribune, and his aide, Lucius (Tom Felton), are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumours of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.
The film provides an evangelism opportunity and the Damaris site for free, official resources boasts exclusive pictures, videos, leaders guides and discussion materials for community groups of all kinds.
