Go to the Summer Madness site.

The Summer Madness festival brings together young people from all backgrounds across the island of Ireland to celebrate, connect and explore the significance of faith in today’s world.

When: 1–5 July

Where:

 Glenarm Castle

Down & Dromore at Summer Madness

The diocese has special links with the festival. Bishop Harold attends every year and is President of Summer Madness. He has been involved since its inception 25 years ago when it was founded by John Kee, a parishioner in Belvoir in the Diocese of Down.

Many of our parish youth groups go along every year and pitch their tents in the Down and Dromore sub–camp. They also enjoy the annual Bishop’s BBQ, presided over by a Colonel Saunders lookalike!
