Kerygma Choir enters a new phase

Best wishes to the Kerygma Good News Choir which has entered a new phase of its ministry with the election of new office bearers and structures. The inaugural meeting and meal took place in The Belmont Hotel, Banbridge.

The choir, which was formed for the Year of Mission by Musical Director Lorna Palmer and at the request of Bishop Harold, had a busy 2015 and is set to continue as a cross–community choir.

Lorna remains as Musical Director whilst Bishop Harold and the Bishop of Dromore, the Most Revd John McAreavey have become Patrons. As part of the determination to remain mission–focused, Revd Adrian Dorrian, Associate Minister in LAMP is Choir Chaplain.

Kerygma plan to stage one major concert per year and three smaller events and will be shortly looking for new members. More details to follow
