Glen Community Church has its first Church Family Camp
At the end of May almost 50 people of all ages spent an amazing weekend under canvas at the very first Glen Community Church Family Camp.
The group had tremendous weather for the whole weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the programme which was aimed at bringing the church family closer together and closer to God.
On Friday night we explored the site and Castlewellan Forest Park as well as enjoying the spookiness of the woods doing the Nightline!
Saturday kicked off with an early breakfast before a Scavenger Hunt around the lake. Archery and sports set the theme for the afternoon, with the fun of Bubble Football in the evening.
Sunday came too quickly and it was time to tidy up, before we enjoyed worship outdoors in the glorious sunshine.

Glen Community Church is a church plant of St Mark’s Newtownards. It began meeting in Londonderry Primary School in August 2014 and is led by Stephen Doherty.
