Cleopas announce January 2017 leaders’ retreat
Cleopas is delighted to once again host a New Year Retreat with Tony Horsfall for all who are seeking refreshment and space for time apart with the Lord.
This event has for the past six years, welcomed ministers, mission personnel, elders, deacons and lay people who have any kind of leadership role within their Christian fellowship.
We all face challenges in ministry and in life – disappointments and setbacks, pain and sorrow and outcomes that often just do not make any sense. Such experiences are common to us all. Can these potential stumbling blocks actually become our stepping stones?
Bouncing Back, Finding Resilience in God is on 16 and 17 January 2017 in Drumalis Retreat and Conference Centre, Larne.
Cost: £140
This retreat will focus on what the Bible says about resilience and growth while facing such challenges. We will look at five biblical characters whose lives of faith have much to teach us about walking in confidence and trust in the midst of difficulty.
Joseph; seeing the bigger picture
David; strengthening oneself in God
Nehemiah; holding firm to the end
Paul; finding grace to help in time of need
Jesus; knowing the joy set before us
Our retreat will offer times of reflective on this important theme, worship and plenty of personal space. There will also be opportunity for personal accompaniment, prayer ministry and group prayer times. Drumalis is a wonderful location renowned for good food and great accommodation all set within beautiful grounds.
