Archbishop of Armagh Writes to Leaders of Main NI Political Parties
The Most Revd Dr Richard Clarke, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, has written personally to the leaders of the main political parties in Northern Ireland assuring them of his prayers at this politically difficult time.
Archbishop Clarke asks all members of the Church of Ireland in this context to pray for God’s guidance, and to seek to say and do only that which is for the common good of all the people of Northern Ireland. Such prayer is clearly enjoined on us by the Scriptures and by the Church of Ireland’s Book of Common Prayer.
