Annual Monitoring Returns workshop for parish treasurers and secretaries
Brian Lavery, Down and Dromore’s Diocesan Finance Officer, is organising two advice workshops to assist Parish treasurers and secretaries with their Annual Monitoring Returns.
The workshops will be held in Dromore Cathedral, Cathedral Hall on Saturday, June 17 at 10.30am and in Knockbreda Parish Hall on Wednesday, June 21 at 7.30pm.
Under new legislation, the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (CCNI) will require such a submission from each Parish.
Representatives from the CCNI will be present to provide practical help and support. As well as offering assistance on the submission of the Annual Return, they will give advice on the Trustee Report and other CCNI–related issues.
It is hoped that as well as being informative, these sessions will be of real assistance to those who attend.
Please note that as the two workshops will be covering the same ground, it’s an either–or situation; there no need to attend both.
These workshops are open to Parish Treasurers and Honorary Secretaries.
