Join in Day of Prayer for a Peaceful ‘Twelfth’

In recent years Divine Healing Ministries (DHM) has held a day of prayer for a Peaceful ‘Twelfth’ and for healing in our land.

This year’s day of prayer will be held at St George’s Parish Church, High Street, Belfast on Tuesday 11 July, from 10.30 am– 2.00 pm.

The event will also mark the completion of six months of weekday prayers for our city and our land organised by DHM and held at St George’s since the beginning of the year.

DHM believes that God has responded positively to the prayers for a peaceful ‘Twelfth’ offered up in previous years. There has been a marked reduction in violence, particularly at flashpoint areas. However persistence in prayer is required.

Divine Healing Ministries warmly invites you to spend some time at this special day of prayer which is for people of all Christian traditions. Short reflections will be held every 30 minutes with silent prayer to follow.

Silent prayer also offers an opportunity to find wholeness through prayer, by laying down burdens carried from the past, by saying sorry, by offering forgiveness to others and to pray for a revival of the Faith across our beautiful land.

Personal prayer will be available for those wishing to receive it. There will also be light refreshments available throughout the day.

Please come – you may stay for as long as you can. If you cannot make it to St George’s please support other churches holding prayer for peace during this period. For example, Shankill Methodist Church, 267 Shankill Road, Belfast (corner with Berlin Street) is holding prayer on 11 July from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

“O High King of Heaven, have mercy on our land. Revive your church. Send the Holy Spirit for the sake of the children. May your kingdom come to our nation.  In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen” (Caleb Prayer for Revival, Ffald–y–Brenin).
