Crosslinks to launch new Bible–centred training for youth leaders

On Thursday 22 February 2018, Crosslinks will launch a new interdenominational training course for youth leaders (employed and volunteers) to help them keep the Bible at the centre of their ministry and equip them to teach it with increasing effectiveness.

Simon Henry, National Youth Officer from the Church of Ireland Youth Department says:

Now more than ever in youth ministry, leaders and volunteers alike need to be disciples making disciples, teaching God’s Word faithfully to young people in relevant and accessible ways. As a former full time youth worker, I know I often felt ill equipped to confidently teach the Bible to a room full of teenagers. A course such as this one will equip youth leaders and volunteers to “train a child up in the way he should go” and to have the Bible as front and centre of their youth work.
