Bishop Harold expresses delight at news of Presbyterian Moderator–elect
Bishop Harold has expressed his delight at the news of the election for Presbyterian Moderator yesterday.
He said: ‘It is with great joy that I heard the news that Charles McMullen is Moderator–elect of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
I have known Charles for many years and have had the privilege of ministering in West Church, Bangor. Charles is a man of humility and courage, a capable leader and Church–builder.
He is the one of God’s choice for this time, and will work for the blessing of the whole church and the whole community on this island’.
