St Patrick’s Day Celebrations for all the family
We would love to see you on St Patrick’s Day when our celebrations have even more of a family feel this year.
We have a special programme for children at Down Cathedral from 10.30 am and then it’s the All–age Festival Service with our special guest, Nick Harding.
Adults and children alike will love Nick who is a wonderful communicator. We’ve asked him to speak about the young Patrick and the family that helped to form his faith. During the service there will be a quiet space available for parents with young children, should they need it.
After the wreath laying at St Patrick’s grave there’s free lunch for everyone in a marquee beside the cathedral.
Of course we will still be meeting at Saul Church for Holy Communion at 9.15 am where our preacher will be the Methodist President, Revd Dr Laurence Graham. The pilgrimage to Down Cathedral is at 10.15 and is suitable for anyone who can walk the 2 miles at a gentle pace.
There’s something for everyone. Do come along!
