Confirmation season finishes with service for 17 adults
The last confirmation service of the season took place in Willowfield Parish Church last night (Sunday 24 June) when 17 adults were confirmed.
That brings the total for 2018 to 322 candidates.
Diocesan Youth Officer, Tim Burns said: “We’ve had a really great confirmation season with more adults being confirmed this year than ever before. Every service had its own character but the sense of celebration has been the same right across the diocese. I just want to encourage everyone to continue praying for the young people and adults who were confirmed and to keep involving them in the life of the church.”
