Marriage Council facilitating a Clergy Couples Getaway in November 2018
In the busyness of parish life, it is so easy to take our relationships for granted. TheMarriage Council, with the support of the House of Bishops, is inviting clergy couples to an overnight 24–hour break at the Hodson Bay Hotel, on the quiet, picturesque shores of Lough Ree, Athlone, on 16–17 November 2018.
The costs will be borne mainly by the Marriage Council and each diocese, with a small contribution from each couple.
Places are limited, so booking early would be recommended.
About
We want you to be able to take time out and relax, so our priority will be for couples to have plenty of opportunity to unwind. Also with the help of Marriage Council facilitators, Jonny and Alison Campbell–Smyth, they will share stories, and provide practical insights into navigating marriage, whether you are just married or have been together many years (couples will have plenty of time to chat together, rather than sharing with the wider group).
