Bishop Harold comments on Bombardier job losses
Today’s announcement that around 490 jobs will be lost at Bombardier is yet another challenge for the people of Northern Ireland. As our largest industrial employer, such losses will hit hard, especially at this time of uncertainty.
My thoughts and prayers are with those whose lives may be profoundly changed by this news. I hope that Bombardier will do everything in its power to minimise compulsory redundancies and the inevitable impact upon individuals and their families.
