The House of Bishops, at its meeting in Dublin today (Wednesday 20 November), confirmed the appointment of the Ven David McClay, Archdeacon of Down, as Bishop–designate of the United Dioceses of Down and Dromore.
His consecration is planned for late January in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast.
