New rectory underway for Drumbo Parish
Work has begun on–site for Drumbo’s new rectory. The unseasonably warm and dry weather meant that the site could be cleared and foundations poured last week.
As the rector at Holy Trinity Ballylesson, Revd Mervyn Jamison, was quick to point out, it was the perfect moment to reflect on the words of 1 Cor 3:10–11.
“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
