Black Santa Appeal – donations are open
Belfast’s Black Santa Sit–Out on the steps of Belfast Cathedral will begin on Thursday 17 December, but online donations are already open on the new belfastblacksanta.org website. You can also support the appeal by purchasing limited edition Black Santa merchandise.
For 2020, Black Santa’s Sit–Out is supporting charities which are helping those most impacted by the Covid–19 crisis. The funds raised will go to supporting the elderly, the young, people affected by unemployment and homelessness, mental health and the Arts, with the donations offering a much–needed boost in such a difficult year. The ‘Black Santa’ sit out supports over 150 local charities with all donations to the appeal being shared amongst their charity partners. Fifteen of these charities are highlighted on the new site. Find out more about the amazing work they do.
