Christmas greetings from Maridi

Bishop Moses Zungo of our link diocese of Maridi, South Sudan, has written with greetings and thanks to everyone in Down and Dromore. Bishop David has sent our greetings in return.

Dear Bishop David

“The angel said to the shepherds; do not be afraid! I bring you good news of great JOY that will be for all people,” Luke 2:10.

On behalf of the Episcopal Diocese of Maridi and on my own behalf, I would like to extend my warm wishes for Christmas to you all and your parishes. We are grateful for you to be part of the Episcopal Diocese of Maridi and my Family in this difficult year 2020.

Despite the Challenges of the 2020 of Covid 19 and other sufferings, The Diocese of Maridi gained its good reputation in the year only because of your dedicated prayers and support to us.

It is a pleasure for me to share our love and gratitude of the year with you as we cross meeting new challenges and opportunities of the year 2021.

The end of the year brings no greater joy than opportunity to express to you season’s greetings and good wishes.

May your Christmas and New Year be filled with joy, love and peace.

Bishop Moses
