Archbishop of Armagh visits Church’s Ministry of Healing

On 25 October the Most Revd John McDowell paid a most welcome and fruitful visit to the Church’s Ministry of Healing – The Mount, at their base on Upper Knockbreda Road.

Archbishop John visited at the invitation of the CMH Board (pictured above) who were keen to share with him the progress they were making with regard to the future of Christian Healing.

Archbishop John spent an hour and a half with the Board and gave them his hearty encouragement to go forward with their evolving strategy and to play their part in the life of our country which is so much in need of healing in this pandemic and beyond.

The Archbishop expressed his particular concern for our young people who have suffered so much in the recent past and lost many life opportunities and experiences which cannot be restored.

Board member and Company Secretary, Revd Prof RAB Mollan said:

“We at the Church’s Ministry of Healing thank God for this encouragement as it stimulates all of us to greater urgency in the affairs of his kingdom and the ministry of Christ’s mercies for healing in our land and amongst its people. We pray for our processes as we look to organise to play our part in those ministries of grace; and we pray for His Grace, Archbishop John as he strives to fulfil his office.”

A more extensive report and opportunity to pray for the ministry of healing can be found on the website: www.cmh-themount.org
