Vacancy for Diocesan Children’s Development Officer
The Church of Ireland Diocese of Down and Dromore seeks to recruit a Diocesan Children’s Development Officer (full–time). The post is based in Church of Ireland House, Belfast.
The Diocese of Down and Dromore is a vibrant and growing diocese of 111 church buildings and 9 church plants. It is focused on making disciples, raising up and empowering Christian leaders and birthing new ministries and churches.
The Diocese has a parish development team whose role it is to support, encourage and resource parish ministry, including youth and children’s ministry. The Children’s Officer works alongside a Youth Officer, Diocesan Development Officer and the wider diocesan team.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 2 March 2022 in Church of Ireland House, Belfast with an anticipated starting date for the post of Monday 4 April 2022.
Candidates selected for interview will be notified via email by Saturday 26 February 2022.
Interviews will last up to 40 minutes and each candidate selected for interview will be asked within this time to deliver a short presentation (of no more than eight minutes) on what strategy they would implement to ensure that the objectives of the post are achieved.
