Bishop’s Big Bike Ride Day 6

It’s the sixth and final day of the Bishop’s Big Bike Ride which is visiting every parish in the diocese. On Monday 4 April we’re setting out from St Columba’s Knock at 8.30 am and 22 stops later we’ll arrive at Belfast Cathedral around 5.15 pm.

The ride is to highlight the work of Bishops’ Appeal, the Church of Ireland’s own World Aid and Development Programme and the Down and Dromore Lent Appeal for 2022.

The Lent Appeal is supporting two projects in partnership with Bishops’ Appeal, one in Honduras through Christian Aid and the other in Jordan through Tearfund.

Read about the projects here.

Bishop David, accompanied by our Bishops’ Appeal Rep, Revd Colin Darling and Dean Geoff Wilson have already made 61 stops along the length and breadth of Down and Dromore. Other cyclists have joined them for sections of the route and today is no exception.

Come and cheer us on as we cycle to raise awareness of the Down and Dromore Lent Appeal with Bishop’s Appeal.
