Ballywalter’s Big Breakfast returns!
It’s Christian Aid Week and Ballywalter Parish were thrilled, after a two year break, to be able to hold their Big Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday 14 May.
“We had a fabulous time and served almost 90 breakfasts,” said the rector, Revd Sue Bell. “The weather was superb and after two years of not being able to hold this event the atmosphere was wonderful. There was such a sense of community and to date we have raised £981.
“We’re so grateful to the team (pictured below) who prepared, cooked and cleared away after the event and to everyone who showed their support for Christian Aid.”
