Thank You Service for our Public Servants & Key Workers

On 4 September Dromore Cathedral will host a service to thank the public servants and key workers who served us so faithfully and sacrificially during the darkest days of the pandemic.

Dean Geoff Wilson said: “We would be delighted if as many people as possible could join us for this special service. Our guest preacher will be Revd Myrtle Morrison who knows only too well what serving others was like on the “frontline” through her work as a hospital chaplain in both Craigavon Area and Lurgan Hospitals.

“As well as thanking those who have served us and are with us on that day, we will also make space in the service to give thanks for those who didn’t come through those dark days through a symbolic act of remembrance and thanksgiving.”

When: Sunday 4 September at 4.00pm

Where: Dromore Cathedral, Church Street, Dromore, BT25 1AA

Refreshments will be served in the Rectory garden immediately following the service, weather permitting, otherwise they will be served in the Cathedral Hall.

All welcome
