A Statement from The Right Revd David McClay, Bishop of Down and Dromore, upon the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“It is with deep sadness that we in Down and Dromore Diocese express our deepest sympathy to all the members of The Royal Family upon the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. “The Queen throughout her long life demonstrated to all of us what true faith in Christ looks like in terms of practical, humble service. “Across our diocese, in each of our parishes, we will over this weekend be remembering a remarkable life and with others praying for God’s comfort for her family and his blessing upon the King, this nation, and the countries of the Commonwealth in the days ahead. “God save the King.” In Christ,Bishop David
