Bishop joins outreach in Dromara & Garvaghy
Bishop David was delighted to join Dromara and Garvaghy’s Big Outreach event in both Dromara and Garvaghy last Saturday 10 September, as part of the parish’s Back to Church Weekend.
Activities included a leaflet drop and a prayer walk within the village with the bishop, rector, Revd George Okikiolu, and some parishioners. Prayer was offered to anyone who wanted it along with free tea and coffee and the chance to have a chat with Bishop David.
The encouragement to come back to church bore fruit, with the parish seeing increased numbers attending their Sunday services and Sunday School.
