Bishops’ Appeal Harvest Newsletter

Do please take a moment to read the Bishops’ Appeal Harvest Newsletter with stories from communities being supported to have a harvest amidst drought and global food price hikes.

Read also the incredible amounts raised for the Ukraine Appeal, a figure which continues to rise as more donations come in to support the humanitarian response.

Bishops’ Appeal Education Officer, Lydia Monds, says:

“There are so many Good News Stories of communities around the world growing and harvesting their crops with support from the Church of Ireland Bishops’ Appeal. In a world that is heavy laden with crises, let these stories fill you with gratitude and hope.”

Our Bishops’ Appeal representative, Revd Colin Darling says:

“It’s both humbling and encouraging to read about all that your support has achieved in the struggling but incredibly resilient communities featured in this issue. Thank you!

“Please continue as individuals and parishes to give to Bishops’ Appeal and don’t forget to include a covering note to explain where you would like your allocation to go.

“Please also remember that right up to the end of the year we are collecting for the two Bishop’s Big Bike Ride projects in Honduras and Jordan.” Read about the projects HERE.
