Coming in 2023, The BIG Diocesan Youth Weekend!
We’re looking forward to another brilliant weekend for young people from Year 8–13 in Castlewellan Castle from 10–12 March 2023. Save the dates!
The BIG Diocesan Youth Weekend is crammed full of activities like laser tag and canoeing, along with other outdoor adventures and the super ultra–competitive Girls vs Boys Saturday Night Live programme. All in the brilliant setting of Castlewellan Castle!
The main aim however, is to explore some core elements of Christian faith: Jesus, the Bible and prayer through teaching and praise times along with small group discussions and activities. As such it is used by many parishes as part of their Confirmation preparation.
The cost in 2022 was £65 per person (£50 per person for Group Leaders). This amount was subsidised and included all food, activities and a welcome pack.
