Sarah Irwin appointed Family Outreach Worker
Congratulations to Sarah Irwin who has been appointed as part–time Family Outreach Worker in St John’s, Lurgan. She will take up the post in January.
Sarah is a qualified primary school teacher and taught for 3 years before taking over the kids and youth ministry in Killough.
Sarah says: “I had initially volunteered in Killough but then ended up leading the project. It has been amazing, and we have seen God doing great things over the last 7 years. We ran a kids club, youth drop in and we would also run lots of different events throughout the year in Killough. I have been involved in kids ministry from I was young teenager and I absolutely love doing it!
“I am excited to get started at St John’s to work with your kids and all the families in the local community. We as a family are really looking forward to becoming part of your church family and getting to know you all!”
Sarah is married to Colin, and they have two young children. They live in Portadown.
