The Bishop of Down and Dromore seeks to appoint a Priest–in charge for the Parish of Groomsport. The role will be for a period of 5 years.
The village of Groomsport is approximately 3 miles from Bangor and 16 miles from Belfast with a good choice of primary, secondary schools and third level education in the area. The parish has one church, with currently two morning and one evening service each Sunday, and two mid–week services. There are approximately 240 families and a wide range of parochial organisations. The church and parish halls were recently refurbished.
