Reading the Bible for ourselves in 2023
In his address to the 2022 Diocesan Synod, Bishop David said that “Disciples are always people who read the Bible every day”. To help each of us develop and maintain that habit in 2023 and beyond, we have prepared a resource called ‘Reading the Bible for Ourselves’.
The Bible is God’s very word to us and reading it for ourselves will help us to hear him and grow in our faith. We will also discover life from God’s perspective. This short leaflet shares the Why and How of personal Bible reading and directs you to different Bible reading methods, plans and resources.
