Sign up for our training courses
We would love as many people as possible to avail of three training opportunities coming up in February and March. The diocese is committed to resourcing the local church by training leaders, and by encouraging every member ministry.
Diocesan Course on Faith Sharing
This free short training course will take place over four consecutive Tuesday evenings in Magheralin from 14 February to 7 March at 7.00pm. The course is open to anyone but may be particularly useful for those of us who would struggle to naturally share our faith story with others.
It is a practical course (no assignments required!) led by the experienced Church Army evangelist, George Newell.
The four topics covered are:
Session 1. Who, What & Why – Who we are in Christ / What is evangelism? / Why should we do it?
Session 2. The Gospel, what is it? – Exploring together the Gospel message
Session 3. How we share – Part 1 – Exploring Methods in sharing our faith
Session 4. How we share – Part 2 – His story / Our story – How to share the Gospel simply / How to share our own faith story
To sign–up please register via Eventbrite HERE or for more information contact Andrew Brannigan at andrew@downanddromore.org or on 07950 846621.
