Vestry Evenings to focus on the next generation
Bishop David has invited our newly elected Select Vestries to a special evening focusing on passing on our faith to the next generation. We will also invite vestry members can dedicate themselves to Christ’s service for the year ahead.
The speaker will be Jasper Rutherford, who has been involved in some very challenging research regarding the urgent task of passing on the faith to our young people, young adults, teenagers and children across Ireland.
Jasper is European Director of Christ in Youth as well as being a Church Army Captain. He is a passionate evangelist with a heart for peace and reconciliation and has been involved in youth ministry for nearly 20 years, within the local Church and with para–church organisations.
This will also be an opportunity to meet vestry persons from other churches over tea and coffee. All evenings run from 7.00–9.00pm.
