Death of Canon George Little
It is with sadness that we share the death of Revd Canon George Little on Wednesday 17 May. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Florence, daughters Ruth and Alison and the wider family circle.
George was ordained deacon in 1972 and served his curacy in St Mark’s Portadown, Diocese of Armagh. His became incumbent of Newtownhamilton and Ballymoyer Union in 1976 before moving to the Diocese of Dromore in 1980 and the incumbency of Aghaderg, Donaghmore and Scarva. At his retirement in 2006 George also Chancellor of Dromore Cathedral.
The funeral will be in St John’s Parish Church, Newtownhamilton, on Saturday 20 May at 2.00pm followed by committal in adjoining Churchyard.
