Pioneer Evangelist, Newry Centre of Mission
Newry Centre of Mission, which is a partnership between the Diocese of Down and Dromore and Church Army, invites applications for the vacant post of Pioneer Evangelist.
The successful applicant will join a team of people who individually are committed to declaring the love of God in a city famous for being close to the border and which is steadily growing in prosperity and increasing in confidence.
We are looking for someone with a passion for proclaiming the love of God in word, with compassion and generosity of spirit and with a proven ability to make disciples and build authentic Christian community.
To these ends much has been achieved over the last two and a half years that can be built upon and some new and developing initiatives are also in place.
The overall vision we have and one that the Pioneer Evangelist will commit to, is to church plant amongst the unchurched young families in our area.
