CLOSING FRIDAY 28 JULY at NOON. The Church of Ireland Diocese of Down and Dromore seeks to appoint a part–time Safeguarding and Compliance Coordinator.
The Church of Ireland is committed to implementing procedures and practices with the aim of safeguarding all children and adults at risk of abuse and protecting them from harm. The Diocese of Down and Dromore adheres to the Church of Ireland Child and Adult Safeguarding Policies. These policies are designed to enable all parties within the Church of Ireland to fulfil their proper responsibilities within ministry. The Diocese is also committed to fostering a health and safety culture which protects those who work for and encounter the Church as part of the Diocese’s mission.

Hours of workPart time – 24 hours per week
Evening and weekend work will be required.
No overtime is payable. Time off in lieu will be granted where additional hours are worked.
Starting Salary£27,000 to £29,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.
Pension8% employer contribution.
Holidays20 days leave and 12 statutory/public holidays pro rata.
Term of contractPermanent subject to a three–month probation period. A clear AccessNI check must be received prior to appointment.

Selection Process
