Carginagh Sunflower Fields still in bloom
Bishop David and Hilary recently paid a visit to the beautiful and hugely successful Carginagh Sunflower Fields in the heart of the Mournes.
The stunning fields, planted by Christ Church Kilkeel, have been attracting visitors and raising funds since late July and will be open until Thursday 17 August for limited hours. Some of the flowers are now past their best but there are many more still coming into bloom. Please note that refreshments are longer being served.
Opening hours (weather dependent) are:
Monday–Wednesday: 11.00am – 4.00pm
Thursday: 11.00am – Sunset
On Thursday at 7.30pm the parish will hold a closing time of worship and thanksgiving. All welcome.
