Jono Pierce interviews Greg Downes
Podcaster and Rector of St Finnian’s, Canon Jono Pierce, has recorded a fascinating interview with this year’s Bible Week speaker, Revd Greg Downes.
In the latest episode of Bitesize Chunks of Faith, Greg shares his faith journey and talks about the people and scriptures that have influenced his Christian life. Ordained in the Church of England at 27, He talks about his work as an evangelist and theologian, and his calling to an itinerant ministry with Kingfisher Ministries.
Speaking about the upcoming Bible Week and his theme, True Conversion, Greg said that he was looking forward to teaching on Colossians 1: “It’s just one chapter but a chance to go deep looking at this wonderful robust Pauline description of what it means to be truly converted, to truly be a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
