Rodney introduced as Minister–in–charge
Warmest congratulations to Revd Rodney Magennis whom Bishop David has introduced as Minister–in–charge of the Grouped Parishes of Aghaderg, Donaghmore and Scarva.
Rodney is no stranger to the grouped parishes having served as their Diocesan Curate since August 2020. He assumed his new role at a service in St Mellan’s in Loughbrickland, on Wednesday 6 September. The Ven Roderic West, Archdeacon of Dromore, gave the address and a small band of friends and colleagues led the worship.
Rodney said: “I thank the parishes for their love and support over the past three years and pray that as we move into this next season, the love of Christ will be shown in all that we do, and that many souls will be won for the kingdom of God.”
We wish he and his new wife Ruth every blessing in their ministry.
