MU Trustees say thank you to Phyllis Whiteside
Members of Down and Dromore Mothers’ Union Trustee Board recently met together for lunch to say a huge thank you to outgoing Secretary, Phyllis Whiteside (above left).
Phyllis, a member of the Saintfield Parish branch, has recently completed a seven–year term of office.
Known for her gentle and quiet manner, Phyllis has always gladly given of her time and expertise and supported the diocese’s MU members and branches with dedication and efficiency.
Amongst other gifts she was presented with flowers by Lynda Thompson who is diocesan vice–president with the Faith & Policy Unit.
Phyllis is succeeded as Secretary by Heather Leckey from St Finnian’s MU.
