Congratulations to Mrs Laura Barnett BEM
Warmest congratulations to Mrs Laura Barnett who has been awarded the British Empire Medal for services to music and the people of Craigavon in the King’s Birthday Honours List.
Laura has served as the worship leader at St Saviour’s Church for 52 years, ever since the church opened in 1972. It is because of this faithfulness and longevity that she has been rightly honoured in this way.
Curate in Charge of St Saviour’s, Stu Armstrong, said, “We are so incredibly proud of Laura. She has an amazing heart for Jesus and His people, and this is a wonderful way to honour that heart and the faithfulness with which she serves.”
