Vacancy, Parish of Magheradroll
The Bishop of Down and Dromore seeks to appoint a Priest–in–charge for the Parish of Magheradroll.
The Parish of Magheradroll is situated in the busy market town of Ballynahinch, halfway between Belfast and Newcastle. The parish has one church and a range of parochial organisations.
We seek to appoint a person who:
Has a deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and is seeking God’s will for their life and our Church family.
Is able to communicate the gospel clearly, in a relevant and inspirational way.
Has excellent interpersonal skills and a vision to build a team to equip the congregation for ministry and church growth.
Is motivated and will energetically encourage young people and families to become involved in church activities.
Is pastorally caring, sensitive and understands the importance of parochial visiting, particularly the sick, bereaved, and housebound.
