New Wine Ireland Leaders' Day

New Wine Ireland makes a return to leaders' training days with a day of worship, teaching, sharing and prayer ministry on 22 November at Lisburn Cathedral from 10.00am-3.30pm with Revd Tommy MacNeil.

Tommy has been Minister of Martin’s Memorial Church of Scotland, Stornoway for the last 18 years.  During that time, they have witnessed significant and sustained growth. He has spearheaded the work of The Shed Project, a community project that provides a neutral and safe environment for young and old alike.

Tommy was part of the leadership team of C.L.A.N. (Christians Linked Across the Nation), served on the Scottish Council of Evangelical Alliance; and is a former Trustee of The Scottish Bible Society.  He is currently Chair of Hebrides Alpha Project, a residential rehab based in the Isle of Lewis and a part time lecturer with Highland Theological College, where he teaches on Evangelism.  He is the author of “Sleeping Giant: A call to the church to awake and arise”.

Tommy is Convener of The Faith Action Programme Leadership Team in the Church of Scotland. They’ve been tasked with discerning what God is saying and where God is leading to become the people of God He desires and has destined us to be.

Our day will involve coffee and lunch, and Tommy will lead sessions on the theme of: Emptiness to Fullness - God's vision for your heart, your church, and your community.
