Ballywalter Church Weekend
At the end of August, Ballywalter Parish headed outdoors for a Church Weekend. On Saturday 28 the Sunday Club children had a Teddy Bears Picnic and on the Sunday the service was held outside. Everyone enjoyed the freedom of worshipping without masks and stayed to picnic together afterwards. The youngsters definitely had the better weather but even though it was cloudy and colder on Sunday lots of people took the time to say how much they enjoyed the service and picnic. The weekend was uplifting and a welcome boost after almost a year and a half of restrictions.
